The Kings Arms is a wonderful 36 bedroom hotel set in the heart of Old Amersham. The hotel dates back to the 15th century, but was fully refurbished, extended and opened in May 2006. The hotel offers both executive and deluxe accomodation for the business and leisure traveller. The rooms all have every comfort you would expect, including broadband & LCD TV's. In the winter open fires blaze in our reception/lounge area, and also in the pub, where you can meet the locals or enjoy a quiet drink.
Our Restaurant is open for breakfast only and offers our guests a wide selection of both Continental style and English breakfasts. We also offer various teas and coffees. The Restaurant is perfect for a quick bite before the working day begins or for a long relaxing breakfast to set you up before exploring the local village.
The lounge is a comfortable area in the heart of the hotel with a wonderful inglenook fireplace which has a roaring fire ablaze during the winter months. It’s a great place to meet up with friends or colleagues before going for dinner or to the bar. This is also where our guests can enjoy a drink after our bar has closed.

All our bedrooms are finished to a very high standard of accommodation. The facilities include LCD digital televisions offering a wide selection of channels including news, documentaries and films. Speedway Broadband is wired in bedrooms for total security but is also available as wireless in our lounge, restaurant and bar. Tea & coffee facilities, hairdryers and individual irons & ironing boards.
Bedrooms are part of the tasteful hotel extension. The rooms are very spacious with good working areas and offer our guests a very quiet and luxurious stay.
These are located in the original part of the building and feature beautiful oak beams and traditional fireplaces. Bedrooms are individual, charming and perfect for a more romantic occasion.
Our suites are beautifully presented enhancing the original features including high-beamed ceilings and traditional fireplaces. Two of our suites have four-poster beds. Each suite has an open-plan bathroom with a walk-in body shower and air bath.
